An Ideal First Date Would Be
Pretty obvious, the ideal date would be....one that leads to a committed relationship. As for the activities, that would depend on what we have in common, and what we like to do. It could be dinner, a walk down a country road or by the lake, a drive to a new place, exploring, the cider mill, bowling, just not a concert or loud bar where you can't talk or hear for a week. Personally, i think the first few dates should be focused mainly on conversations between the two of us, perhaps while sharing an activity. I'm a casual kind of guy, I've done my time in a suit and tie, hated it. But now that's church attire. Jeans, carharts, or maybe dockers are how I roll, lol. So to see me in a suit, How about dinner after Church services on Sunday afternoon? I do work a lot and tend to get focused and intense in projects, so a partner that reminds me of the fun stuff, and can take the initiative to plan an outing would be great. I'm game for just about anything. But not drunkenness and bars. Not that I haven't done my share of indulgences, but that's not my lifestyle norm. Nor should it be yours IMHO.
I've Always Wanted To Try
This is a tough one. I really don't have a bucket list. I've managed to do all the things I've ever wanted. But lately I've admired those who have just taken off and done the nomad lifestyle for a while. Not a forever thing, just to be able to wake up to a new vista every few days or so, and see more of this beautiful country. Not really a city guy anymore, not a gambler, drinker, ect., just doer, possibly a bit of a dreamer at times. Of course a nice comfortable base to come home to between adventures, but that has become more appealing lately. A trip to Scotland perhaps. That's where my ancestors came from. I've always wanted to go there and see if it feels like home, or just a long way from it.

My Idea Of Fun Is
Planning the rest of our lives with a partner who is my soul mate. I have so many interests, and so many places I'd like to explore, and plans for a successful future, but it just isn't the same, nor does it have the same enthusiasm when you're on your own. So fun is finding myself a priority in anothers life, them being mine, and together enjoying what life has to offer, Together. I do enjoy the sense of accomplishment that a shared project yields, and the joy of lifting someone up and seeing them happy, healthy, and successful.
