I Would Describe Myself As

Loving Jesus and others as ourselves is the most important ingredient to a solid friendship or marriage. I just want to do the most good for others as I can in the time I have left and to share some happiness to with a special someone who wants to serve the Lord together with me. I love to hike, explore, cook, write, sing, fellowship, garden, talk, encourage others, and especially my close friends, including, hopefully, my best friend in this life, later to be a Christian mate. I believe in biblical purity before marriage, passion afterwards. I look forward to serving the Lord together with someone who loves Jesus and the truth of His Word as I do. I look forward to finding happiness together by understanding/appreciating/respecting each other. If you like to travel, that's a plus. I have 4 children and 11 grandchildren and would love to be friends with my mate's children/grandchildren as well. Life is about fun as well as serious service in Christ's Kingdom! I want to grow in Christ until the day I die and to help others to do the same. I have been helping people with health concerns for many years. I believe in treating our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, feeding it right, getting regular exercise and rest, casting all our anxiety on the Lord, which brings peace. I do have dietary restrictions due to allergies, but I love to cook creative, nourishing, yummy food from scratch. A great date might be to go for a walk somewhere, enjoy a meal, go boating or fishing, or a picnic at a park. I love animals, too, but they are not a must in my life.
I have fellowshiped with Christian Churches/Churches of Christ for most of my life, because they are the closest I can find to biblical Christianity, but I am open to other churches with other titles who also closely follow the Bible.
