Prefer veteran, not a dealbreaker. Having a relationship with Jesus is. I was married 40 years and lost my sweetheart in the twinkling of an eye. Widow is never a title that I wanted. Will want to start with a friend and build from there. Intelligent, however, down to earth, a good conversationalist and strong family values. Someone that will open up about their wife if a widower and allow me to do the same. My husband was the most intelligent man I ever met. He could sit at conference tables with generals and he only had a high school education. I'm a lady and as my husband always said "a classy lady". I enjoy dressing formal and I'm well dressed for any occasion. My husband always said "it's better to be over dressed than under dressed. Having said all of that, I'm 5/8 and average. My friends think I'm under weight. I have 4 small dogs, 2 older cats and a large fish aquarium.
